Oil Hot Daugs, a Campfire Recipe for the Outdoorsman

These
daugs have a bit of a bite, so use your good judgment at feeding time. They
can be enjoyed both indoors and out in the Wild.
- Ingredients
- 1 pack
of your favorite daugs
- 1 pack
of your favorite hot daug buns
- 1 bottle
of Heinz Chili Sauce
- 1 small
jar of your favorite grape jelly
- 8 clean
sticks
- 1 campfire
- 1 can
hot daug sauce, shredded cheese, chopped onion, sauerkraut, sunshine spread -
mustard, hot daug sweet relish (optional)
Mix the
jelly and bottle of sauce and heat until you have a glaze. Add the hot
daugs and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Pierce with
clean sticks and roast over campfire. Put inside of hot daug bun and add
desired fixings.
This glaze
also works very well on the tiny sausages. Just glaze and heat. Great
for the football games!
