Kid's Camping Recipes
It's important
to take along some treats whenever you strike out on a hike. Trail Trash
is delicious and very economical to make, without the preservatives!
Ingredients

- 1 cup
each of any of the following:
- hulled
nuts - cashews, honey roasted peanuts, pecans
- PLUS
- 1 cup
each of any of the following:
- hulled
seeds: sunflower, pumpkin
- PLUS
- 1 cup
each of any of the following:
- dried
fruit - apricots, cranberries, pineapple, papayas, banana chips, golden raisins
- PLUS
- 1/2 cup
each of any of the following:
- mini marshmallows
- either multi-colored or white, shredded coconut
- PLUS
- 1/2 cup
each of any of the following:
- pretzel
sticks, snakin' fish-shaped crackers, mini-dried bagel chips (Old London's is
great) or Corn Nuts
ISLAND COMBO
TRAIL TRASH
- 1 cup
of cashew nuts
- 1 cup
of sunflower seeds
- 1 cup
dried pineapple
- 1/2 cup
shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup
original flavored fish shaped crackers
- Mix, shake
and eat!
