Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

This article is about how one can effectively deal with these tiny menaces laced into our lives.
The story of Bob & Di – just one means of encountering a wolf in sheep's clothing.
We all know them, angels by day and demons by night, wolves in sheep's clothing. Sometimes, light isn't a factor at all. You may live with one. You may work with one. You may be related to one. However, you'll probably never be friends with one.
When Bob met Di it was instant love. Why, he couldn't have found a more perfect creature if he'd searched the earth for a million years. Di was so meek, so well mannered, and she seemed to seek and find only the good in those around her. All of this good-deed doing, yet Di was so alone. Her family never seemed to have any time for her. She was also one of the misfortunate ones that was so busy doing good deeds that she hadn't time to waste on frivolous friendships. Yes, Bob was blessed because gracious Di had allowed him into her fold!
Then, not three months after the wedding, Di took on a horrendous transformation. Fangs suddenly sprang from her once-sheepish, loveable smile. Her delicate nails reverted into sharp claws. Her once-sheepish tongue transformed into a stinging whip. Her buff of a tail grew long and clinging. This kind, wonderful, adorable person was now a heartless, leaching evildoer!
Bob was no longer the wonderful companion that Di once claimed he was. In fact, he could do nothing RIGHT anymore – and only three short months ago, he could do nothing WRONG.
As Bob sat in the bistro crying into his dark-bodied beer, he contemplated the puzzle surrounding his once-beloved sheep-person. From wolf to sheep in three short months – how did this happen? Had he been that blinded by Di's once wooly, and quite fuzzy, fun nature? Oh, it was heck nurturing his suddenly bleating heart.
Separating the Sheep from the Wolves
Sheep run in flocks; wolves are loners.
You can torture a sheep to death and they'll remain practically speechless. On the other hand, a wolf will howl until daybreak if you even look at him crooked.
Sheep are vegetarians. Wolves are meat eaters.
Sheep like to eat what's put before them. Wolves like to hunt for their prey.
You choose sheep. Wolves choose you.
Sheep tend to be impatient and will generally settle for what's offered them rather than waiting for something better. Wolves will patiently wait for a century before picking the precise moment to attack and devour.
Sheep will lay down and warm a wounded flock member. Wolves kill inferiors.
A sheep will gently eat a goody from your hand. A wolf will eat a goody and your hand.
Sheep will look at you eye-to-eye. Wolves rarely make direct eye contact.
Dealing with Wolves in Sheep Clothing
Don't be taken in by their false charms.
Never accept a compliment from a wolf in sheep's clothing. It's their way of sorting out the gullibles.
Never buy a wolf in sheep's clothing anything. You'll quickly become their new source of prey.
If you suspect you are dealing with a wolf in sheep's clothing, maintain eye contact. It's the best unspoken language you can use – the call of the wild so to speak.
With this out of the way, should we all buy Bob a round?
