SPRING CAMPING IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Camping during the spring months can be challenging due to upper disturbances in the earth's atmosphere - the cold wind mixing with the warmer air can create violent, although breathtaking, lightening storms. Other than storms - a camper couldn't order more perfect weather for outdoor adventure.

Just a few sights to look for while camping during those perfect days of spring include:

Birds migrating north, fields and pregnant meadows of wildflowers, refreshing rainshowers, an emersion of butterflies into the meadowlands, flowering dogwoods, patches of wild berries, the rebirth of mosquitoes, chiggers, flies and wasps!

You'll also discover spiders on the loose - generally webspinning. Try to take a hike on a drizzly wet day and you may be lucky enough to cross a path blocked by a spider's web that has been crystallized with raindrops that resemble a pearl necklace.
