Camping Recipe for Fireant Chili

This campfire recipe for our Fire-Branded, Fireant chili will blow off your skirt so tie down the tent before you begin preparations. This camping recipe is solely for only the brave:

1 medium can of pinto beans and 1 medium can of red kidney beans

1 small jar of Pace Picante sauce - the HOT variety.  Sissies can use 1/2 of a small jar of EXTRA MILD.

1 pound of chili meat + 2 Tablespoons of chili powder

Chili fixins such as chopped onions, grated cheese, hominy, crackers, corn chips and cornbread if desired.

Brown chili meat in cast iron camping kettle or pot until juice runs clear. Sprinkle on the chili powder and carefully turn until meat is fully coated. Next, add beans; do NOT drain.  Add picante sauce and cook until bubbly.

Will kindly feed 4 hungry campers and one lost bear.
