CAMPING STORY
Camping - Ethnic
Vampire War
It
was the year of the Bat, 1313 A.D., the beginning
of camping as we know it amidst one of the most secret
battles in history: The Ethnic Vampire War.
Meet Don,
King of the Russian vampires.
The Russian vampires were notorious for raiding camping
grounds and stealing the victim's spirits, particularly
vodka. Then there were the English vampires. These educated
menaces to campers enjoyed hiding in the brush and chasing
unsuspecting foxes.
The Ethnic
Vampire War came to a chilling end in 1492, the year
that Columbus sailed the ocean blue. The Santa Maria
was loaded with nations of vampires seeking new homage,
seeking fresh life and high hopes that the New World
would provide such. To their demise, the friendly American
Indians greeted the voyagers with home grown corn, baskets
of wheat and pods of pungent garlic.
With the
discovery that most of the pilgrims were actually vampires
traveling incognito, there was reason to celebrate.
And that was known as The First Thanksgiving. On
that note, would someone please pass the garlic bread?
